Black Walnut Beveled Edge River Table
Local Black Walnut material from Chippewa Park in Welland, Ontario has been utilized to build this table. This specific Walnut featured some of the most unique grain, and colour I have ever seen in the species. Brown, red, orange, gold and purple tones in this table overload the eye of the viewer compared to typical Walnut which is generally brown with a white sapwood. A unique winding yet straight river design is yet another factor which makes this table special. It’s nearly impossible to find material perfect for such a design. tinted epoxy allows the user to gaze into the epoxy yet casts a dark shade over the river. This table was delivered locally to a beautiful country home in my hometown of Wainfleet, Ontario.
